In 1881, Hynek Fialka, a member of the Fren\u0161t\u00e1t Civic Society, proposed building a chapel at the summit of Radho\u0161\u0165. Mass is held every Saturday at 11:00 AM from July to mid-September. There is a pilgrimage on the feast of St. Cyril and Methodius (July 5). The chapel is usually accessible during the tourist season \u2013 from July to September, and we recommend arranging group tours with the municipal office in Trojanovice. The chapel is managed by the Roman Catholic parish<\/g><\/g> in Fren\u0161t\u00e1t pod Radho\u0161t\u011bm. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tOn the occasion of the millennium of Methodius, Pope Leo XIII consecrated a painting of John Sarkander for the future Radho\u0161\u0165 chapel in Rome, intended for Moravian pilgrims led by the later Archbishop of Olomouc, Anton\u00edn Cyril Stojan. The costs were estimated at around 10,000 gold coins. Collection for Construction<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A collection was organized to support the construction, raising approximately 3,500 gold coins. In 1895, industrialist Emil Kosteln\u00edk became the chairman of the committee. That year, he purchased the original painting “Wallachian Madonna” by Adolf Liebscher at the ethnographic exhibition in Prague and undertook a journey through Moravia and Bohemia, during which he collected an additional estimated amount of about 7,500 gold coins. Archbishop Theodor Kohn of Olomouc donated part of the land in the Trojanovice cadastre for the chapel and took patronage over it. Count Rudolf Kinsk\u00fd of the Ro\u017enov estate also donated part of his land in the Doln\u00ed Be\u010dva cadastre. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The planned chapel was to be built partly on the Ro\u017enov side and partly on the Fren\u0161t\u00e1t side. On July 5, 1896, the foundation stone of the Radho\u0161\u0165 chapel was consecrated. Since its consecration by Archbishop Theodor Kohn of Olomouc in 1898, it has been cared for by members of the Matice Radho\u0161\u0165sk\u00e1 association from Trojanovice. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Matice Radho\u0161\u0165sk\u00e1 association also oversaw the restoration of the wooden bell tower in 2000. Similar to the construction of the chapel a century earlier, people in Wallachia organized a collection, the proceeds of which partially covered the construction costs. In addition to money, they also donated wood from their own forests. One of the beams transported to Radho\u0161\u0165 was engraved with the symbolic inscription “Vala\u0161i sob\u011b” (Wallachians for Themselves). <\/p>

The craftsmen who restored the chapel had to demonstrate the same skill and artistry as their predecessors. The carved columns, hand-hewn beams, and shingle roof of the new bell tower are identical in detail to the original historical structure. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t
