History
The new station stands on the site of the original building, which had to be demolished in 2016 due to its poor condition. As the upper station of the cable car from Trojanovice to Pustevny, the old building had been in use since 1940. It originally included a return wheel, and over time, additional parts were added, creating a ski rental, a snack bar, and restrooms. Due to the “patching” of new sections to the building’s structure, it no longer met the requirements for further use.

Czech Architecture Award 2018 – Nomination
The new station is a modern structure made of stone, wood, and glass. It is the work of Kopřivnice architect Kamil Mrva, who has been collaborating with the village of Trojanovice for years and is involved in shaping the Radegast’s Beskydy project. The entire building was designed in harmony with the surrounding nature to blend seamlessly into the Pustevny landscape.
