EXTENDED SUMMER OPENING HOURS OF THE CHAIRLIFT AND SCOOTER RENTAL
From Saturday, the 28th. 6. Starting Saturday, June 28, 2025, we are extending the operating hours of the chairlift to Pustevny. It will run daily from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM. At the same time, our scooter and e-bike rental will be available every day from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM (in good weather).
Take advantage of the opportunity to purchase tickets or rent a scooter online through our reservation system at discounted prices—without queues or waiting.
Tickets and scooter rentals booked online are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase, allowing you to use them anytime during this period within the operating hours of the chairlift or the rental.

The scooter and e-bike season has begun. Our scooter and e-bike rental, featuring KOSTKA scooters, is open for you in good weather every Saturday, Sunday, and on public holidays from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Take advantage of the opportunity to book a scooter online through our reservation system at discounted prices, without waiting in line. Online scooter rentals are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase, allowing you to use them anytime during the rental shop's operating hours within this period. Rentals outside these hours are possible by prior telephone arrangement at +420 734 364 016 (especially for groups). Come and enjoy spring and the beautiful mountain nature at Pustevny! Park-and-ride lot
The park-and-ride lot for the Cyril and Methodius Pilgrimage will be set up at the fire station (in the meadow on the left-hand side when coming from Rožnov pod Radhoštěm).
- The parking fee is 100 CZK per day.
- The parking fee does not include the shuttle bus fare to Pustevny.
- The park-and-ride lot is operated by SDH Prostřední Bečva.

Charity Outdoor Sand Sculpture Exhibition

Summer 2025
For the sixth time, giant sand sculptures will rise at Pustevny as part of the annual outdoor charity exhibition – this year with a new theme: Africa. Once again, we’ll journey into the world—into our Sand World—and take visitors to the hot African continent. You can look forward to impressive sculptures of African animals that are among the endangered species listed on the IUCN Red List (International Union for Conservation of Nature). This list assesses the threat levels to various species and highlights animals at risk of extinction.
In this year’s Sand World, you’ll encounter majestic lions, pangolins, chimpanzees, and African pygmy hippos—and learn why these creatures are endangered. This year, 90 tons of environmentally friendly sand from the Vítošov lime quarry will again be used to create the sculptures, transported to Pustevny by three giant trucks from Sytrans. The largest sculptures will reach up to three meters in height. Four sculptors from our region will work on creating the sculptures, assisted by six helpers, heavy machinery from HR Systém, and special formwork. Once completed, all sculptures will be protected with a special Den Braven spray coating.
We would like to thank the Moravian-Silesian Region for its support in purchasing special equipment for the treatment of cross-country tracks.
