SCOOTER RENTAL – OPEN EVERY DAY
During the summer, we are here for you every day.
Scooter rental is open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM (only in good weather).
Change in the cable car’s operating hours on July 5.
On Saturday, July 5, due to the Cyril and Methodius pilgrimage, the Pustevny cable car will be in operation from 7:30 AM. On Sunday, July 6, standard operation runs from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with departures every half hour. From Monday, July 7, we operate daily from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
Park-and-ride parking for the weekend of July 5–6 – Cyril and Methodius Pilgrimage.
In connection with the expected increase in visitors to the Pustevny area, the municipality of Prostřední Bečva, in cooperation with other authorities, has prepared special traffic measures for the weekend of July 5–6. The goal is to facilitate traffic flow and prevent any complications.

EXTENDED SUMMER OPENING HOURS OF THE CHAIRLIFT AND SCOOTER RENTAL
From Saturday, the 28th. 6. Starting Saturday, June 28, 2025, we are extending the operating hours of the chairlift to Pustevny. It will run daily from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM. At the same time, our scooter and e-bike rental will be available every day from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM (in good weather).
Take advantage of the opportunity to purchase tickets or rent a scooter online through our reservation system at discounted prices—without queues or waiting.
Tickets and scooter rentals booked online are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase, allowing you to use them anytime during this period within the operating hours of the chairlift or the rental.

For the sixth time, giant sand sculptures will rise at Pustevny as part of the annual open-air charity exhibition – this year with a new theme: Africa. Once again, we will embark on a journey into the world – into our Sand World – and take visitors to the hot African continent.

Activities
Chairlift
Our chairlift is one of the oldest in Europe, with original operations starting in 1940. The current cable car, in operation since 1987, is now undergoing modernization of the two-seater chairs to make your ride to Pustevny as comfortable as possible. With an elevation gain of 400 m, we have 162 seats connected by the single-cable circulating lift Tatrapoma TS-2.

Pískosvět Exhibition
June 9, 2025 Exhibition Duration: Summer 2025 (ending depending on weather conditions)
For the sixth time at Pustevny, giant sand sculptures will rise as part of the annual outdoor charity exhibition – this year with a new theme: Africa. Once again, we will journey into the world – into our Sand World – and take visitors to the hot African continent. You can look forward to impressive sculptures of African animals that are listed among the endangered species on the IUCN Red List (International Union for Conservation of Nature). This list assesses the level of threat to individual species and highlights animals at risk of extinction.
Upper Cable Car Station
The modern structure made of stone, wood, and glass, designed by architect Kamil Mrva, has received several nominations and awards for its unconventional design. You can access the upper station building directly after disembarking from the cable car or from the main road that runs through Pustevny. Here, you’ll find not only a souvenir shop but also a self-service restaurant offering panoramic views. The restaurant can be utilized for any visit to Pustevny or for private corporate events or weddings.
Refreshments and Souvenirs
The upper station of the cable car includes a viewing self-service restaurant and a souvenir shop. In the local shop, visitors can purchase memorabilia, gifts from local producers, and basic sports equipment.
